The fundamentals of Te Whâriki are incorporated throughout our programme and environment. These principles are as follows:

This reflects the holistic ways in which children learn.

Play an integral part in the development of children and the Centre.

Provide stability for children and allow them the confidence to establish reciprocal relationships with people and the environment.

These principles are the basis in which children need to develop and grow. Experiences presented will encourage active participation that engages children emotionally, physically, cognitively and socially in a supportive and responsive environment.
